Design and build
In my opinion it has very similar design to the Mini MX player. But I am not surprised because many other media players recently has more or less the same design. According to the Zidoo company, X6 Pro has aluminum plastic case. It is not too much big and you can place it anywhere you want. The box has all required ports like HDMI, USB ports and RJ45.
Performance and benchmark testing
Zidoo X6 Pro has really strong and powerful hardware for this price range, it is based on 64 bit Octa Core CPU Rockchip RK3368 with maximum speed 1,5 GHz. It has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be upgraded using the SD card maximum 32 GB. The GPU is SGX6110 which supports 4K*2K H.265/H.264.
So in other words it is made for gaming and watching high definition movies. I played several games which requires strong hardware and all games worked smoothly without lags. Also I was watching HD movies from my USB flash flash drive and from KODI, and still I did not see and problems. Also below you can see this testing scores from benchmark apps like Antutu. But overall I can say that they done a great job in optimization.
Software
It comes with operating system Android 5.1, but if you remember in the beginning I told you that is very important to have good after sale support for this kind of products. Because of several reasons but the main reason is of course fixing problems and bugs. So on the Zidoo forum I found a new version for upgrade which fixes some problems. So the first thing I have done is upgrading the newest version.
After that I have started to use the Android TV box. Also I have said before that they have done a great job with operating system because during use I have not noticed a single problem and really I have tried many different things from KODI to playing games. Kodi is stable and all add-ons perfectly normal including HD content. Also if you are interested to watch movies from USB flash drive I can freely say that subtitles are working. Connectivity
About connectivity it is really up to which type of connection you want to use. Because the Zidoo X6 Pro supports 802.11a/b/g/n/mimo dual-band WIFI, but it has also RJ-45 Ethernet Jack (10/100/1000Mbps). This days I personally like more WIFI because it is much easier to use J, so because of that I have used wireless connection. From what I can see it has good range for connectivity and the connection is stable. For me it is also required to have wireless keyboard and mouse so because of that I used Bluetooth keyboard. The Bluetooth connection is also stable and it was really easy to set up.
Conclusion
As conclusion I can say they did a great job with this Android media player. It looks cool, build quality is high. The hardware is powerful and after sale support is great.
