How to Root the Xiaomi Mi Box Mini

Actually it is quite easy to root the Xiaomi Mi Box Mini, but you must have bluetooth mouse or bluetooth keyboard with touchpad. Because the rooting apk requires sliding and you cannot do that with remote control.

  1. Download newest version of KingRoot from XDA
  1. Install KingRoot apk on your box
  1. Launch KingRoot from your Mi Box Mini main menu and follow instructions

That’s it after several minutes you got a rooted Xiaomi Mi Box Mini. This is very important because without root you cant install Google play because it is required.
