MediaTek presented New SoC MT8127 with Mali 450MP4

Mediatek has recently presented a new quad core CPU or SOC (system on chip) under the name MediaTek MT8127 that comes with Mali 450MP4 GPU. It is a quad core CPU with speed at 1.5 GHz, it is also equipped with really strong GPU with codename Mali 450. And this CPU is produced only for tablets. So we can expect new tablets with this new quad core SoC.

The new tablet CPU supports new features like NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, 1080p video recording and playback, 13 megapixel camera sensor, Miracast and H.256 video encoding. So this are good news for potential tablet buyers. The only bad thing about this is that where MediaTek MT8127 does not support mobile networks so tablets with this CPU will work only with Wifi.

The MediaTek MT8127 will not be powerful as the Snapdragon 801 or some similar CPU but it will be a solid SoC. And I think that the price will be affordable so we can expect tablets will have reasonable price with this CPU. What do you think about this new chipset could they offer more maybe?
